Having built homes on two previous occasions, the clients were intimately involved with the process. They had a strong vision of their new home and Creative delivered excellence because of their approach to the building process and their collaboration with the clients. Using quality materials throughout the entire home, Creative achieved the look and finish specified.<h1>Griffith 1</h1> The post war architecture inspired the design approach to this Griffith renovation and extension, resulting in a stunning transformation of a Canberra original. The new addition boasts a parent’s retreat with large living areas and a sparkling swimming pool. Large northerly windows, a feature stonewall, roof formations and the open plan flows onto a covered balcony and beyond to the pool area.<h1>Red Hill</h1> For the owners, the restoration of this home began as a vision and then became a journey of commitment and love when they invited Creative Building Services to transform the residence back to its former glory. Creative approached the project with the philosophy that any extension should respect the scale and proportion of the original dwelling. This has clearly been achieved as from the exterior it is hard to detect the extensive work undertaken. The heavily textured render and colours of the extension are a true reproduction of the original building. Internally the creative use of marble, stone and timber showcase the splendour and refinement of this stately home. This Red Hill residence is a multiple award winning home and a true landmark for Canberra.<h1>O\'Malley Units</h1> Canberra’s first gated community is home to a selection of luxury units built specifically to work around well-established trees. Also, and very importantly for the residents, the complex has been planned so that it will never become a public thoroughfare. These exceptional units are beautifully landscaped and are interconnected by stone retaining walls. The finishes are absolutely stunning, in particular, in the professionally designed bathrooms and the striking kitchens. The new home was designed to maximise the northern aspect of the block and provide the parents with an ‘adult’ wing incorporating a home office and formal living areas. The informal area to the middle of the house was designed to suit younger members of the family and includes a much-loved rumpus room.<h1>Campbell 2</h1> Functional, with tastefully modern appointments, this striking home features an indoor pool making it the ideal entertainer! The kitchen is a masterpiece and adjoins an extremely spacious living area with full-length windows designed to frame the beautiful garden. Environmental features include double glazed timber windows, a 100,000-litre rainwater tank for irrigation, gas-fuelled hydronic in-slab heating, garbage recycling facilities and natural ventilation through the highlight windows eliminating the need for air conditioning.<h1>Narrabundah</h1> Positioned in the grounds behind an existing property; tight access to the construction site presented the first challenge; a limited budget, high expectations and a strict deadline added further strain. However, thanks to Creative the new home stands proudly with floor to ceiling windows, polished natural concrete floors, in-slab heating, ducted vacuum system, grey water recycling to the laundry, 5m high ceilings, stone clad walls and mezzanine floor in the living area.<h1>North Terrace</h1> Four bedrooms and segregated informal and formal entertaining areas provided this family with their ideal living space. This contemporary home is perfectly located in a quiet cul-de-sac and features high quality, modern fixtures and fittings.<h1>Chapman</h1> Our client’s passion and enthusiasm combined with Creative’s collaborative team-approach ensured that this construction was a seamless process. The client’s first home was destroyed in the heartbreaking 2003 bushfires, so the construction of their new home was filled with mixed emotions. Creative worked tirelessly to ensure the clients were in their new home by Christmas. This project was such a pleasure to complete and has proven to be a dream come true for the owners.<h1>O\'Malley 1</h1> This eye-catching home was designed to achieve the highest possible degree of quality, with meticulous attention to detail. Capturing the northerly sun to most rooms was an important consideration, as was combining an abundance of space with privacy. Designed with family in mind, this magnificent home features a segregated master bedroom with a large ensuite, a children’s wing positioned away from the main living areas, a rumpus/study area with external access and formal and informal living areas. Creative has achieved the perfect retreat in this elegant and distinguished design. Perfectly understated with a well-chosen neutral colour palette, complimented by rich timber floors and a striking kitchen, creates an escape within the walls of this O’Malley home.<h1>Campbell 1</h1> Creative designed these Villas to ensure maximum privacy, that’s why at first glance, it is not apparent it’s a dual occupancy. Both homes are modern and elegant, and whilst they offer all the conveniences and lifestyle features of a townhouse, Creative has been imaginative in their use of space and design characteristics.<h1>Deakin</h1> These two contemporary and spacious homes replaced a single level home on this convenient inner south block. Creative skilfully sited each home so that privacy was assured with separate driveways and courtyards. The courtyard in each home is accessed from the main living area opening the residences to the outdoors. A neutral colour palette, spacious living areas and generous master bedroom with ensuite, complete two beautiful homes where once stood a single residence.<h1>Duffy</h1> The design and construction of this home on a fire-affected block in Duffy had very specific requirements. The owners wanted to showcase items of personal importance collected on their travels around the world! Primarily contemporary in design, Creative added a mixture of classic elements to compose an eclectic style. Clean-cut lines, spacious rooms and an open living plan, make this home extremely appealing. All living areas are north facing and have views overlooking Canberra.<h1>O\'Connor 2</h1> High ceilings and extensive use of glass to ensure light-filled living spaces were the blueprint Creative used to deliver this most elegant, purpose-built residence for a semi retired couple. It was time for the next stage of the owners’ lives – a sleek sophisticated lifestyle was the vision - their dream is their new home. Three bedrooms each with an ensuite, a customised home-theatre- room and a large home office/study with separate entrance completes this picture perfect home.
